Comments: Robert was a very good neighbour, as were all of the Trevison family {we lived directly across from each other on Byers Lane.} I also knew Robert as a good friend and a fellow musician for many years In the Trail Maple Leaf Band. He will be missed by eveyone who ever came in contact with him.

Comments: There are very few people I wish to emulate, Pop was one of those few. Among the things I learned from him was the real meaning of kindness, good heartedness, the spirit of unconditional generosity and love.
Last year during a cold snap, he went down to the store. He was talking to a woman who worked there and she was telling him a story of some kittens that she had found and was trying to keep them warm. She could not keep them in the house because her kids were allergic. He was so worried about the kittens and wanted to help. He went out and bought a cat house, bedding, food canned food and then made a special trip back late that night to deliver to her things so that the kittens would be warm.
This was not just a single incident, but one of hundreds that I witnessed while I was graced with his presence.
It is to Pop, the buyer of hundreds of small stuffed animals each year that would be re-homed anonymously to less fortunate children at Christmas, that I vow to become more like him.
What a great gift to be blessed with having known him and be part of such a beautiful family.

Comments: Dear Pete and family,
Although I knew your dad's voice was not as strong as it used to be, I enjoyed our periodic conversations and his wisdom, humor and unbelievable kindness. When the phone rang today and I saw the 509 Area Code, I thought it was him.... Bob changed the course of my life. Twenty one years ago, he hired me, a young engineer who flew all the way from France to go work for him. He was my mentor and my friend. I loved the moments I spent with him discussing business in his office, scavenging for used equipment in our warehouse, talking politics over lunch and a cigarette or solving some engineering problem on the back of a napkin. He was the kindest and most generous human being I have ever met. I feel blessed to have been touched by your Dad. I miss him already.
