Pete and Family,

I am very sad to hear of your dad's passing. He was a very dear friend to me who I had such great respect for. He gave me so much and I was able to return very little. His words of encouragement and advice over the years will always be with me in my memories of him. I was only one of many who had such great admiration for him - you should be very proud and honored to have had such a wonderful person in your lives. I have many good memories of him but none as special as the ones you each hold.

Thank you for sharing him so many,
Kevin

Nancy,
I was so lucky to know your father. He was such a dear and amazing man. Full of life and love, always with a kind word (okay, MANY words) and quick wit! I always left an encounter with him with a full and happy heart. I will forever miss our little rendezvous' at the local grocery store! I giggle at the way I came to know him initially, and then know you better through him. He was so incredibly proud of you! And understandably so, you inherited many fine qualities from him. He'll be dearly missed here on earth, but I'll look forward to seeing his sweet smile once again. May you, Michele and the rest of the family have peace in knowing how many lives he touched and how truly loved he will always be! Much love, Lisa

So sorry to have heard of your fathers passing, he seems to have lived his life in full charachter and as a responsible human being, you must be very proud to have been his daughter and so lucky to have experienced his teachings. Love and honesty stands out like a beacon for all who are able to follow, Peace and Love.

I was watching a bit of a Canucks game last night during which a fan was clipped by a puck. It reminded me of the time that Dad and I got to go to a Trail Smokeaters game together. I was maybe about 7 or so. Dad shoved me off the bleacher onto the floor so I wouldn't get hit straight in the head by a puck. The guy behind me caught it and his hand was bright red. At first, I didn't know why Dad had knocked me out of my seat but he was sure quick on his feet. He was always watching out for us in one way or another and I love him.

One of my favorite memories of a family get together was at Evy's house.

Dad was sitting on the couch, Pete was rubbing his back while dad, Cath and Nan sang funny songs like Don Ho's "Heavenly Frower..."
and Ian and Sylvia's Ol' Blue. Great times.

I consider myself and my family fortunate to be amongst scores of people who have benefited from Bobs warmth, guidance and mentoring. He had a gentle way of making sure you left every conversation with him either having learned something or thinking about something from another perspective. He made everyone he came in contact with feel that their contributions and opinions were important. I doubt I will ever meet another man with the depth and breadth of his knowledge and ability to absorb information. Coupled with his easy smile, genuine sense of fair play and compassion for his fellow man love of animals you end up with the rarest of men. We will miss him very much.

Dear Trevisons and family:

I am so sorry to hear the news of your loss. Your father was such a huge part of your lives. He will live on in your hearts and memories -- some of which you shared with us.

You are all in my thoughts at this sad time.

Our greatest regrets to the family of Robert (Bob) Trevison in this time of loss. We will cetainly miss him and that big sincere smile.

I am unable to think of anyone that I admired more as a person and businessman. As some have stated, Bob had a way of seeing people for what they were, and what they could become in the future. It was my great pleasure working with him over the years and just knowing him personally. His compassion for people and animals set him apart from the general masses. I'm sure my own career would have not developed as it did without his support and trust.

There are several of us that have fond memories of his humor, humanity, and wit.
